Rust Company collects only the information needed to run account linking, supporter benefits, and Discord/server synchronization. We do not sell your personal data.
Information we collect
- SteamID64 (from Steam sign-in)
- Steam profile name used for support lookups and account display
- Patreon user ID and active tier status (from Patreon sign-in)
- Discord user ID when you link Discord
- Linking status, provider timestamps, and sync metadata required for role/perk updates
How we use your information
- To verify supporter status and grant in-game Patreon benefits
- To sync Steam + company data for Discord role and channel access updates
- To support account recovery, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention
Data sharing
Data is processed only through services needed for this system to work, including Steam OpenID, Patreon OAuth/API, Discord OAuth/API, and Rust Company infrastructure providers (for example Cloudflare hosting, worker runtime, and database services).
Retention
Linked account records are retained while your link is active or needed for service operation. You can request unlinking/removal through support. Some minimal technical logs may be retained for security and fraud review.
Your choices
You can choose which providers to link. If you unlink Discord or Patreon, related roles/benefits may be removed on the next sync cycle.
